In October 2022, COERR Mae Sot supported Sport Competitions among children and youths in Ban Mae La and Ban Nupo temporary shelters in Tak Province.

   At Ban Mae La temporary shelter in Tha Song Yang District, COERR supported waste management and separation campaign together with Covid-19 prevention through sport competition activities for health promotion.

   During October 10-31, 2022, there were 970 youths of 340 females and 630 males in primary education and secondary education levels who participated in sports competitions such as football, volley ball, cane ball, etc. In addition to sports competition, children and youth also joined activities concerning environment protection through waste management and trash separation as well as self-protection behaviours of Covid-19.

   At Ban Nupo temporary shelter in Umphang District, COERR supported the Anti-drug Sport Competition among youth on October 19-20, 2022, in which 314 youth of 150 females and 164 males strengthen their friendship with participation in exercising and sport playing which united them to have one goal in mind, to make use of their leisure with friends and prevent drugs use which has become one of social problems for community members.
